The Cooking School of Aspen boasts an intimate classroom setting. The world's foremost talents share their expertise with recreational cooks and wine enthusiasts: Glenn Smith of G.H. Smith & Co., Mark Miller of Coyote Café, Michel Nischan of Heartbeat, Rob Seideman of Cooking School of Aspen, and sommelier Andrea Immer, author of Great Wine Made Simple.
Our culinary package allows you enough time to explore the Colorado
Rockies at your own pace. The vast summer recreational opportunities
include whitewater rafting, mountain biking, off-road touring, fly fishing,
hiking, golf and more. In the winter, enjoy world-class skiing,
snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, and horse-drawn
carriage rides.
Accommodations are at the Sardy House, a distinctively elegant and
graciously appointed Victorian luxury bed-and-breakfast.
Three Fingered Jack Atkinson built this intimate home in 1892, and with its original maple-wood floors, fireplace and golden oak doorways, the dining room recalls the Aspen of an earlier era.
Wood-paneled ceilings, bay windows, glass Victorian lamps, and cozy wicker chairs evoke an era of old world charm and grace. With just 20 rooms, Sardy House offers a pool, hot tub, sauna, gourmet restaurant and charming rooms or deluxe suites, some with fireplaces and balconies.
