Arrive in Bordeaux. Spend the day at leisure and then enjoy a festive welcome dinner party. You’ll explore Medoc, home to the most celebrated wines in the world.

St. Emilion, Varetz, Dordogne Valley & Rocamadour
See the charming sights of the appealing old town of Bordeaux and the picturesque wine village known as St. Emilion. Treat your eyes to the lush landscapes of the Dordogne Valley with its ancient castles and long-standing manor houses.

Cahors & Peche Merle Caves
Go back in time at the Peche Merle Caves, a Paleolithic sanctuary containing amazing prehistoric wall drawings.

Albi & Carcassonne
The beautiful cathedral of Albi will enchant and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum will astound as you view the house where Henri was born and then visit an excellent collection of his work at Palais de la Berbie. Continue to medieval Carcassonne, a town that dates back to the time of Julius Caesar.

Aigues-Mortes, St.-Rémy-de-Provence, Avignon, Nimes, Arles & Les Baux-de-Provence
A visit to Aigues Mortes lets you witness the historical significance of this 15th century port and gaze beyond its walls to the vast wetland noted for its flocks of vibrant pink flamingos and herds of native white horses. Continue to Les Baux-de-Provence , a beautifully preserved 13-century village perched overlooking the lovely Provence plains. Bid farewell to fellow travelers at a special party.
